I got into AI because I wanted to build things people actually use — not just train models, but ship the full product around them. That led me from a CS degree at Manipal to a Masters in AI at the National University of Singapore, where I published research while simultaneously building production systems at startups.
Along the way, I've built NL2SQL engines that let non-technical teams query databases in plain English, credit risk platforms processing real financial data for NUS's AI lab, speech transcription pipelines with custom fine-tuned Whisper models, and AI assistants that actually get used in production at fintech companies.
Right now at ThoutAI, I'm leading the backend and AI team — architecting the infrastructure behind a Meeting Intelligence Platform that turns conversations into action. The work sits at the intersection of AI agents, real-time systems, and product engineering, which is exactly where I like to be.
